FANtastic window fan with its drawbacks

Had this bad boy for a little over 5 months now, I love being able to intake or exhaust as well. Only lame thing is I wish I could have the fan going continuously without the temperature control shutting it off. The dial is cranked but it still auto shuts off. Had I known this would happen I definitely wouldn't have purchased this model. Is there any way I can override it? Taking it apart and snipping a wire? Anything?
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great fan

I read the reviews and the reason some reviewers have poor results is that they probably didn’t install it correctly. The window must be sealed around the fan or it simply won’t work. Once the fan is sealed in place, the fan works wonderful and quietly, and on the low setting is very energy efficient.
I would recommend this to a friend!
