Dangerous top.

I had a black Proctor Silex for many years, I gave it to my son to take to my trailer. I bought a new one and hate it because the water comes out all around the spout and makes a mess and could be dangerous . It could cause very serious burns as the water sure gets hot.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
