Sorry I Didn't return it after using it!

I bought this approximately 1 year ago. It shuts off when I'm ironing and the steam doesn't come out long enough to get out the wrinkles. I'm 64 years old and I've used an iron long enough to know when something doesn't work properly! Very disappointed and I'm now looking for a different brand!

Cord gets stuck

I've used iron 3 times and the cord is now stuck and won't retract. Have tried pulling, pressing button. Cord is stuck half way out. Can not use iron with half cord.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Very disappointed

Although I really like the retractable cord this iron has been a big disappointment. I use my iron every day and iron several pieces of clothing along with table clothes or whatever. This is my second Black & Decker cord reel iron and I experienced the same thing with both of them. The soleplate is bad. The top part of the soleplate gets burned and can make marks on your clothes. I even looked up on line how to safely clean an iron soleplate with no satisfaction. Nothing seemed to work. I have never in my life experienced this problem and try and take good care of my irons. I always liked Black & Decker irons before, but now I will no longer buy them. Did they change something in the process of making the soleplate?
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

love love love my iron

I had purchased this iron and loved it rom the beginning. After a while it stopped getting hot, so I had to buy another iron. Let me tell you not all irons are the same! I got in touch with Black and Decker and they sent me a replacement for my broken iron (it was still under waranty)
I love this iron!!!!! It does such a great job, it has the weight to it , but not the bulkines. Perfect iron!
