Rusting kettle

It's supposed to be a stainless steel kettle? How would B&D explain the rust forming inside my kettle? Not good. What I should do is place this on my "What not to buy" YouTube showcase. I would have given this a lower than 1 star, but I don't see the stars with a minus in front of them, so 1 it is. I'll attach a photo soon.

Not durable

We did not use this very long until the switch stopped working on the bottom, AND the lid stopped staying closed on top! Truly disappointed in apparent decline in quality of Black & Decker products.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The product looks stylish

We bought 1 in late November. By January it was all rusted out. Returned it and our daughter came to visit in February. She thought she was doing us a favour and bought the same 1. Within 3 weeks it was rusting out again. I'm very disappointed in it.

Great features , but didn't last long

Disappointing
Initially worked great - boils water quickly. However, the ON /OFF button is defective and the lid no longer closes AT ALL! Still boils water, but wastes energy because the automatic shut off also does not work anymore, and splashes water allover. Spout edges are sharp. Disappointing. Purchased this hoping it would be durable and last longer, or replaceable, now the product can't be repaired and is useless.

Wish it would have worked longer

The kettle worked great for a couple of weeks and then the on/off switch stopped working and then it just stopped heating up walk all together. Really disappointed it didn't work as long as I had hoped. Black and Decker makes great products and this one fell short. :(

Low quality. Broke twice. Good features.

I had it for 3 years. After 1 year started leaking water & got replaced within warranty. Now the new replaced kettle thermostat stopped working & turns off after a little bit of heating, half way to boiling. Now it is after the 2 year total warranty ... I bought it because expected good quality from Black and Decker.

Great kettle.. Weak on/off switch mechanism..

I had it for a couple of years until the on/off switch mechanism decided to broke. I searched a replacement part everywhere on the internet, but no chance :( I have many Black & Decker appliances and tools at home, the family always trusted the brand and I knew it since I was a kid. I don't want to throw the kettle away because I know it still good. Your help will be much appreciated. Thanks!
