Good grind/Flimsy tab on lid

I have been using this grinder for almost a year and it ground my coffee well. Unfortunately as many others have noted here if you drop the cap or misalign it once you can easily break off the little plastic tab on the lid needed to activate the grinder. It is frustrating that this little piece is so vital yet flimsy in design. I guess I was lucky it lasted a year, but I just dropped the cap for the first time and now am without a grinder.
Black and Decker clearly did not put the quality I have come to expect in their tools into this appliance.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We bought this grinder a month ago to grind beans for our "weekend coffee". Works like a charm....takes up little space....does what it's supposed to!! Will grind up to 2/3 cup of coffee beans at a time which is a perfect amount for our weekend coffee!!

This is a great little grinder and very quiet, I was expecting it to be noisy, but to my surprise isn't. It grinds the beans very fast. Awesome grinder for the size. I definitely recommend it.

Excellent to grind my own beans On my own. I did not want to taste others grinders beans and decided to buy my own.
We also can grind dry spices in the machine which makes it very useful.
