slowest speed is too fast

Purchased this product approximately 4 months ago to replace a mixer I had for many years. The slowest speed on this mixer is so fast that I have to cover the bowl with a cloth to prevent spattering my kitchen. This makes this product unsatisfactory to the point where I cannot use it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Excellent mixer great speed and nice case

This mixer does the job quickly and efficiently. The beaters are small but the speed of the beaters makes up for the size of the beaters. There would be just one change that would help me the grip is large for a woman's hand, at least my hand, so when beating 7min frosting it does get tired. But a small price to pay for a great mixer.

too powerful

I received this mixer as a gift. It has alot of power. The low setting is way too high and ingredients fly out of the bowl. I only use this mixer when I need a high setting. The rest of the time I mix by hand, which defeats the purpose of having a mixer in the first place. In the manual it says use low speed for dry ingredients, I was left in a cloud of flour and sugar when I tried this. I will be buying a new mixer as soon as I can.

Beaters are a joke

This has plenty of power but is a little heavy for a hand held. The biggest problem is the beaters. The flimsy wire beaters are a joke. The manuals that come with it list a place to order more traditional beaters, spring for them and this would be a good handheld mixer.
I would recommend this to a friend!

The wisk beaters that came with my mixer are broken, the wire fell apart, is there any way I can get a replacement?

Efficient and powerful at combining baking ingredients. Problems occur when I try to eject the beaters.They often don't come out and I have to poke a toothpick into receptacle.

I love Black & Decker products,but when the box was opened many months later when my son moved out there was only one beater in the closed up box,now did someone tamper with this in the store. I need the other items to use it so I am willing to pay for them as it isn't really your fault. Can you let me know where I can aquire these items. Thankyou d.
