We first received this fryer as a gift 22 years ago. We just replaced that one with a new one of the same model simply because the 22 year old one looked 22 years old. It still worked perfectly!

Amazing Little Kitchen Appliance!

Bought one for my son as a gift several years ago and a few months later, I decided with all of the cooking he does for family events etc, that a second one would help him balance his time in the kitchen. He makes chicken wings for family football and games and other events and just loves this mighty little fryer. Doesn't take up a huge amount of space in the pantry which is nice. We have had friends and family ask where they could get one, only to find they are out of stock everywhere we've looked. Would love to see this back in stock!

This deep fryer is amazing. I received one of these over 22 years ago as a wedding gift. BEST GIFT EVER!! My old one still works great. The only reason I am replacing it is because of the oil build up in the lid and the fact that I've scrubbed it so much that the non-stick coating is starting to wear thin in some places. I haven't opened the box on my new one yet but I am hoping for another 22 years with a quality product. In a world of inferior, cheaply made products that don't last, well done De'Longhi.

Not worth the money

This was the second Delonghi deep fryer I bought. The original one had a digital timer and held up alot longer. I bought this one and not only is it cheaper looking and feeling the nonstick coating started coming off in less than 2 years(which we all know is harmful to your health). I changed out the oil alot to try to prevent food particles from scratching the nonstick coating but it did not hold up.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
