Using this watch in Iraq as an RTO I needed accuracy. This watch will drift time by 1/4 second in 2 weeks. It was this consistent for EIGHT YEARS. I will wear this watch tell I die. Shower, Pool, IRAQ, PT, Try to kill this thing. You will wear the buttons smooth before this gem dies.

Hands down, greatest watch

I’ve had this watch for 6 years now and it has been through quite the beating. I’ve taken it mountaineering, sailing, scuba diving, hiking, biking, traveling, day-to-day wear, and the list goes on... Never have I had such a brilliant timepiece which has stuck with me for so long. I’ve made so many great memories with this watch and not only does if function brilliantly but it definitely has a nostalgic feel. Currently, the bezel is deteriorating and I am in the market for a new dive watch. I’m seriously considering acquiring another one of these, as it has served me so well. Wish there was some way I could get my current one repaired by Timex. “Takes a licking, keeps on ticking,” is certainly evident in this watch. Most definitely one of the best products I’ve used in my entire life, would 100% recommend!

picked this up not too long ago. Wanted a watch to use during yard work and not have to worry about it getting bang around. I also started a walking regimate, so this fits the bill. Was going back and forth between this and G-Shock that was around the same price. But the display and the ease of use sold me on the Ironman. They are both Shock rated so this one was a clear winner. That display is fantastic. The strap is really nice and comfortable. Overall perfect watch for my needs.
I used to have this watch decades ago. I love the retro-style.

Have been wearing an older version with these same features for the past 23 years. Wear it every day everywhere. Bezel is scratch free. Just change strap when it wears out & battery as required. Put a little vasaline on gasket when changing battery to keep it waterproof.
This Ironman is awesome. It brings back so many memories as kid. It’s great to see timex still making them

Balls to four watch - memories

Simply my favorite watch of all time. I wore my first one on the ship in the Navy. I still get chills thinking of seeing the Indi Glo every time I asked it to illuminate, so I could take a fix or make a log as the Quartermaster of the Watch. This watch is simply part of me and part of my wonderful memories. Thank you for continuing excellence. This is the epitome of greatness and I can’t say enough. Through all of the abuse I’ve given these IronMan watches, it’s hard to believe they kept going and going.
I would definitely recommend this "wrist timepiece". I purchased this "21st century" watch to replace the "1986 20th century" watch (which I received as a X-mas gift back in 1987).
