Love the new features

I have owned Whirlpool appliances for 40 years and this is the best Whirlpool washer and dryer I have purchased so far. I love the new style the locking lid on the washer along with the new style washing agitator. The energy saving fearures are a bonus. I can wash my bed conforters which saves me money on dry cleaning bills. I like the top load features of the Whirlpool washer because the front loader has a mold musty smell to me.The gas dryer is awesome, I am not overdrying my clothes because the dryer has the ability to select the most effecient drying cycle. The large inside tub is also very convient when drying comforters.When I bought my new washer dryer set I gave my old set of Whirlpool appliances washer and dryer to my daughter and it still works great after 18 years. I also own a Whirlpool refridgerator. Keep up the good work Whirlpool.

An excellent dryer with great features

This dryer is packed with excellent features and makes for a wonderful new addition to our laundry room. It is very easy to use, provides options for drying and is quick. I do not have to worry about my clothes being under or over dried, They come out perfectly. I am very happy with my purchase.

This dryer was very hard for me to learn to use. It is really for a larger family than just mine. If you have a large family it is perfect. I've learned with my small load I have to use the timed dry feature. And I've gotten used to it. A repairman helped me to understand the dryer better and I'm happy with it now.

Love the size!

My husband bought me this gas dryer after my last one died. I go through dryers faster than anyone I know. This is our third dryer in eleven years! So far, it's okay. I love the big size but it doesn't always dry our clothes completely. I find myself turning it back on for 15-20 minutes to finish drying whatever is in there. However, if I put it on the highest heat setting, it seems to dry much better. I just don't like drying everything on high heat. It's not eco friendly and the clothes (towels especially) come out feeling abrasive when the temp is set too high. Also, it's very noisy!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
