I thought it would be like the other stain removers, rub in and wait a long time then shampoo it out. I waited 5 minutes and the lighter stains were gone! The older darker stains came out, just going over it once with carpet cleaner. Worked better than I thought it would. Only bad thing is I only bought one bottle.

I use this product to handle spills when they happen and when I clean an entire room. I spray a spot or a larger area and let my Big Green Professional Carpet Cleaner do the rest.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was able to get red dirt stains out of my couch cushions using the Bissell Spot clean Pro. I forgot to spray this on one of the cushions first and it didn't get nearly as clean. I went back with this spray and redid that cushion and it came clean. I would say this is a must for settled in stains before shampooing.
