I have tried other stain products and they worked a little but did not completely get out all the stains. This stain pre-treat works much better. I have used it as a pre-spotter for carpet cleaning and just by itself for spot cleaning and it really get the stain out. Would recommend especially if you have pets. No discoloration of the carpets either.

Thanks for your review. Some stains need different formula for certain types of stains. For instance if it's a pet stain it would be best to get a BISSELL pet formula like the Stain & Stink.
