This product worked well in our home. We have 3 cats and 1 dog and the carpets had not been cleaned in several years. This pretreatment spray removed the stubborn stains for us.

Got Red Wine Out!

I had first bought this product as a pre-treat before steam cleaning my carpets - which it worked well for. Last night, I accidentally spilled half a glass of red wine on my beige carpet. I immediately blotted the wine up, then applied this product. It almost immediately erased the red wine! I was amazed! This product will now always be on hand in my house!! Thank you Bissell for creating a product great for a klutz like me!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This works better than any other pretreat we have tried. When used with the Bissel carpet cleaner (I use about 30% more than recommended) the carpet ends up really clean.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have some tough stains and was hoping the pretreat would help. I did, but not as well as I was hoping. I really had to put a lot on some stains in order for it to really get the stain out. I got it out, but I had to use so much of the pretreat, that it wasn't worth the effort or cost. I will continue to use it for "stubborn" stains, but for "tough" stains, I need something stronger.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
