love the ease with which to use this and set it up. i do suggest tho that an usb cable came with it. silly to have to go buy one after it comes

Excellent printer and all-in-one. Convenient to print from upstairs I-pad. Great quality print and copy. Was initially miffed that during installation I was told it was not compatible with my new (windows 8) laptop....but the driver was easy to download and get it working. Glad I bought it.

The perfect multifunction Unit

It has done everything I've asked of it and more. WiFi is bullet proof and works with our computers and smart phones. Great scanning and the fax works for those times I have had to fax. Prints fast and beautifully. Can't ask for more!

We hope this is the last printer ever. It duplexes, scan, copies, prints, and faxes. We were a little disappointed that scan to email is not supported in this model of the 8600 (low-end) but only in the mid and high-end printers. There is a web application that does this feature with only an extra button push or two.
Seems to work fine for everything we've asked so far. We hope the printheads won't clog since we don't print that often. Time will tell.

I just wish they would give better set up instructions! That is my one and only complaint.

I am so far pleased with the performance. Cost was half as much as my old laser jet and will do more. Also believe my ink costs will be lower.

Had the printer going within an hour or so which is fast for me. The CD didn't work for downloaded drivers, etc., but the HP website worked great for downloads. Got two computers printing. I can copy OK and used the duplex feature for 2-sided copies, which is a great paper saver. So I have no fears that when I need to set up the fax and learn to scan items, this will go easy for me, also.

I WAS UNABLE TO INSTAL THE NEW HP (OFFICEJET) PRO 8600 BECAUSE THE NEW YELLOW INK CATRIDGE WAS SAID TO HAVE LEAK WHEN I NEEDED SOME PRINT..OUT URGENTLY.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
