Used printer a week. Can't fairly review yet.

I don't like reviewing products that I have used less than a week. Thus far, the setup was easy and it connected right to my WiFi. I have printed about 50 pages with no problems. I was hesitant to purchase from HP again after the horrible printer they put out in the 8500. I had the infamous "Load Paper Error," and was never able to get assistance from HP on the known hardware problem. I was only able to print less than 4,000 pages, and each of those pages was horrible as I had to take the duplexer off, remove the paper, unplug the printer, and so on, to get a page to print. HP was aware of the problem and did fix it, but they would only give me telephone support during the warranty time. I had a known hardware problem and they refused to exchange or fix my printer. I will be keeping my fingers crossed with my new 8600. I would like to offer a review in a couple of months once I see how the printer works and if I do require support from HP, will I get it...

I purchased this 8600 because my copier (Xerox) and my fax (Canon) both died recently. My HP printer that I purchased in 1995 has been my home office printer and still performs beautifully. So, I decided to replace those other machines with the 8600. So far, I am ecstatic with the ease of ordering, the speedy delivery, the features, the set-up, and the print quality. Having been in the printing industry for 20 years, I must say that the quality of the printing is very important to me. And I love the fact that HP's make color matching a breeze and always give crisp, clean prints. I am disappointed only in 2 things so far. 1. When the printer was delivered, whomever brought it, set it in a spot where the sprinklers thoroughly watered it. 2. I am unable to change print settings for draft, normal, etc. It will take time to see if this product can match or exceed my old HP.

I love the fact that I can print from any device I'm using by just emailing to a special email address I setup on EPrint!

This printer is an excellent choice and an excellent price too! It's very easy to setup. In fact it practically sets up itself. It found my Wi-Fi by itself and started printing within minutes of setup.

I received this printer in the time promised. It was relatively easy to set up (my spouse helped). I like the wireless printing ability. I haven't really used it enough to say more. So far I recommend this printer.

Consolidated My Printers

This wireless all-in-one printer allowed me to consolidate my computer pirnters down to one. I was also able to link my two laptops to this printer. Now I have two desktops and two laptops printing to this new printer. Prints come out fast and clear. I printed one 8x10 photo on photo paper so far and it was quick and good quality. I used the scanner once. For scanning the HP asks which computer you want to save the document to, so make sure all your computers have names you remember. Copies are quick and easy to make. I quickly tried to link my wife's I-phone, so that she could print. I was able to ID the HP on her I-phone, but could not get it to work yet. I only spent 5 minutes trying to figure this out, so I have to work on this a bit more to get it to work. Directions for the I-phone setup process seemed lacking.

This is the best of 4 printers I've owned. The wireless setup was the best and very smooth.
Aso liked the large paper storage and simple ink cartridge replacement.

I have only had this printer for a couple of weeks. For the most part it does everthing I need. However it doesn't handle printing envelopes very well, you can only load one at a time, anymore than that it picks them up 2 or 3 at a time. Also I am still unable to print useing my wireless network.
I would recommend this to a friend!
