Features as expected and Operation is generally straight forward. Text quality excellent and b & w poto print off web was fair.Set up was done by a tech-savy relative and required a half day visit, Fax set up was problematic and required another half day and three contacts during a week with HP Tech Support which eventually remidied the problems. Copy function does not appear to allow enlargement. Unit design and footprit ecellent Paper tray opening fussy.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I can't believe that I delayed so long - this printer has already saved me so much time and frustration. It was quick and easy to set up and works like a charm. Fast, quiet and very efficient. I couldn't be happier with my purchase.

I was a little worried about how hard it would be to get it all set up, but it was a breeze. It walked me through it and I can now easily print from both my desktop and laptop. I bought it not only for the Wi-Fi printing but for the duplicator and it works great also. Saves me a lot of time making copies when I can just stick in a stack of 10 sheets or so and have them copy automatically instead of opening the cover and placing each one in separately. It's also a very quick printer and the quality looks nice. I would definitely recommend this printer.

Worked quickly and easily with all devices. An easy button to display the IP address on the printer display would have made the product better.

Replacement for an HP 1100 - the wireless and remote printing is a great addition to our small offices capabilities. - cost and performance make this printer a must to consider when looking to upgrade your print device

8600 printer is excellent.I had a couple of minor problems durng installation to network,but I believe that was due to my age (72).I'm a little slow on uptake, but by following the convenient steps on display I resolved them without outside help. The quality of printed material is better than expected. I have not used the fax feature because I have a seperate fax machine that is more economical than using printer cartrdges. The cost of the printer cartridges was a shock, but haven't had printer long enough to determine how often these may require replacement.
