Officejet Pro 8600 - The Cheap Model

The price is cheap. Delivery was exceptionally fast. The printer arrived in good order and was easy to setup. Wireless is nice. The interface with the printer features is easy to use. There are only a couple things I don't like about the Officejet Pro 8600.
The first is the positioning of the paper after going through the sheet feeder. It can't be accessed easily without lifting the plastic bed of the sheet feeder. I see the more expensive models appear to be designed somewhat differently and appear to eliminate this problem. The second thing is the scan. The scan did not faithfully reproduce the type. I read another review that mentioned an issue with the scan.
I haven't used the fax. I've copied, printed and scanned. I would buy another one based on the price and expected life of the unit. (I expect this printer to last for years.)

I am very satisfied with the printer. It was easy to set up, although I have not connected or used the fax function. Everything else works as expected, and much faster than my old printer.

This printer has all the features needed for a small business. Today's business requires more then years ago. To succeed today requires the small business owner to preform multi tasks. This printer meets all my tasks.

If you're looking for an all-in-one printer that prints, copies, scans, faxes, & is wireless, this is a great printer. It's definitely not a compact printer, but it works great. You can scan from the touch display on the printer & choose which computer you want it to go to if you're on a network & have more than one computer in the house. Price was reasonable also. Great printer for a small home office even.

Once it start to print speeds are faster than some laser printers. I found this print very easy to setup (wireless) just follow the directions. Quality prints and the high yield ink cartridges make this inkjet a winner in my book. And last but not least good old HP quality appears to be well built machine.

Officejet Pro 8600

I have been using HP Photo Smart printers for years. When my last one died, I decided to move up to the 8600 Officejet Pro. This printer looks and responds like a true office printer. The first thing I noticed was how much paper it holds. It is very fast and quite. This is the best printer that I have ever had.
