Great All Around Printer

My last 4 in 1 was an HP 6210. This 8600 is greatly advanced and more versitle. I especially like the 2 sided printing to save paper. The energy saving feature is also great. I use it for both home and my home based business.

My wife and I both have iPhones and my wife was recently issued an iPad for work. We decided to upgrade to an AirPrint compatable printer. Many review sites and internet price checks later we ended up buying directly from HP. Ordered on a Tuesday afternoon and received on Thursday. ePrint is AWESOME! It's so convenient to have it waiting at home. Prevents logging in at home just to print something I couldn't print at work because it was personal. WiFi instead of a USB cable allows me to have it sitting in an open space completely out of the way. The touchpad is easy to navigate and the set up was easy. The print quality is very nice. I would recommend this product to anyone.

EPrint with Officepro 8600

The Officepro 8600 is great. I wanted a printer which I could use with my Ipad, iphone and Ipod and this machine is A plus all the way. I am anxious to use the airprint capabilities once I learn how to use them, however this is my fault that I have not master this possibility as the machine has all of the capabilities. This is my 5th or 6th HP printers and can't complain about any of them. Hp stands behind their products 100% - would definitely recommend. The last 3 or 4 printers which I have purchased for the company I work for have all been HP. Ink has such vibrant color and you only replace the color you need at a given time, therefore not wasting ink by replacing a cartridge which has all colors in one cartridge.

I just purchased this printer and so far so good. it was really easy to install. I'm the creator of a pet bereavement card business and I print a lot of images and need a printer to duplex so this works wonderfully for that. I had problems on my card program after installing the printer, as I couldn't figure out how to duplex , but I called the HP's tech support and they were very very patient with me as we solved the problem. I must admit I LOVE HP'S SERVICE... although, I've had situations where I've called and COULDN'T UNDERSTAND the service rep, which is a very very frustrating experience, but they do try their very best to retify the printer's problems, and I'm impressed with that aspect.
As far as the 8600 though, there are certain instances where I have to print on 'best' ( as opposed to Normal) and of course this means more ink that is being used. This is only if I'm printing images ( not text). I don't have a major problem with that, but thought I'd mention it..

I bought this printer to replace a VERY old and out-dated HP Laser printer. I had reservations about buying an ink-jet, but with the cost of toner cartridges these days, I figured I'd give it a shot. The quality is outstanding, and the ink dries instantly and does not smudge if it gets wet. The initial start up time for scanning takes a little longer than I'd like, but other than that, I have no complanits. The setup was a snap, and hiccup free. I would recommed this printer to anyone.
