I had sworn that I would never buy another HP after expensive cartridges and lengthy printer preparation on my last one, but I was assured by the man in the shop that HP was the best in the category I wanted. I was able to install it myself with a 2 hour call to a very good help line. It has brilliant features, but tends to forget wireless connection from time to tiime. It produces excellent copies; the 2 sided ablity and two page on one print are good. I wish one could be invented without glitches. If an oven were as temperamental as modern computing products we would all keep to cold food.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I am by no means a computer geek (I'm a very silver surfer) and I found this printer the easiest to set up that I have ever had, with no help from the children!!
The results are very good on the scanner, photocopier and printer. I mainly use my printer in connection with my artwork or photography hobby and have had perfect results every time.
Ink cartridges are extremely easy to replace, and not quite as costly as they are repleced one at a time. All in all a very good printer.

Supplied setting up manual poor. I had to download the full version. Like the idea of smaller inks; much cheaper. Very good value.

Printing of photos is good but have had trouble printing documents in colour - the colours are not always true. Scanning has worked fine but each page saves separately when scanning multiple pages. Finally, unable to connect to wireless printing. I have spent hours on various trouble shooting guides but keep going around in circles. I will keep persevere to rectify the problems but am frustrated with the time I need to invest. It should all be much more simple than this.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

It is one of the best printers I have purchased for home use. it is also suitable for mini office. The speed is good. Print quality is excellent. Double sided printing is good. Scanning facility is very good as you could scan few sheets of paper in a single click. Overall, I would say it is worth buying and value for money printer.

Disappointed that it does not have OCR. The wireless function keeps dropping out so had to use USB connection. As printer sits next to the computor no problem. Been in touch with HP to solve issue, very helpful but I gave up in end as the printer printed and that is all I wanted. not too fused about the Wifi.

I have had HP printers in the past no idea why I moved away, this printer is like a welcome home it safe and secure if you say jump it says how high, it is neat, compact, and has lots of features wonderful printer I am a crafter and the quality of print is the best, i like the fact I can be away from it and take a photo on my phone and print, and there is the photo printed out when I get back, So I you can't praise it enough. go out and buy it you won't regret it

So easy to set up, ideal for home printing.
Links with other devices with ease.
Inks seem to last for longer than last HP printer purchased a few years ago.
Great to be able to choose to print both sides or just one, saves paper.
