This is the 4th printer I have purchased but this is more than I have owned before as it does it all fax scanner copier plus printer its almost plug and play really easy to set up from the time I opened the box 10 minutes later I was printing photos of my last holiday so I think it's gets a worthy 8 out of 10 very happy with standard of print and speed of double side printing,I haven't bought any ink yet so cannot comment on the price of that .

Great Printer... But

Actually the printer is 4 or 5 stars. Beautiful color prints. I gave it a 3 and would not recommend it to a friend because it took three printers (and 3 trips to the store) to get one that worked. First one had a carriage jam after the second sheet of paper went into the duplexer and would not clear (software locked up). Second was DOA due to a badly manufactured power socket (pin would not contact plug). I have owned HP (photosmart) printers for many years and this is the first time I've had a problem... but, it was discouraging.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Photosmart 7510e

I hadn't bought a new printer for absolutely ages! I had to change technology because HP refused to provide Windows 7 drivers for our really great 5470c scanner!
After a long investigation, I decided on the 7510e - mostly due to the specs but also, I have to admit, because it just looks great!. What a fantastic piece of kit! Every part of it works like a dream. I had an initial drama trying to set it up to print via cable - it seemed to want to use Wi-Fi only! But I got it sorted after a bit of thinking! My wife is a professional photographer and she is amazed at the quality of smaller prints that this machine can make.
It is a shame that HP don't bundle an OCR app with this machine as the scanner is really good. We have used the sheet feeder/scanner extensively to archive some importand business documents and are really pleased with the results.
If I had to be picky I would comment on two things:
1 The paper tray - this could easily be taller, allowing more paper to be loaded. The existing tray does not hold enough paper.
2 The ink Cartridge price is ridiculous! It is time that HP and others realised that the ink price is one of the main reason for customer "churn". I woukld be happy to sign up to HP for a longer term contract for the supply of a "printing capability" for a certain amount each year. I get great prints and affordable ink, and they get assured longer term revenue, AND a happy loyal customer. Its time HP took a look at this.
Notwithstanding, a really great printer/scanner/copier etc - does exactly what it says on the tin - really pleased!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Bought to replace my old HP Officejet. Easy to set-up and use. Not to keen on e-fax so have not used it to date. Good quality print and photos but quite noisy when printing. wireless printing a big improvement and printing from IPhone & IPad very straightforward once the apps are downloaded.

RUBBISH RUBBISH RUBBISH........ does not come with a USB attachment which makes the machine USELESS as it usually does not print at the very moment you need to use it. 4 times since purchased we have had to re-establish it's link to our wireless connection.
wouldn't recommend
thank you

very good printer

i bought this printer to replace my old, but still working perfectly well, 1310 all in one printer and it has proved ,so far, to have been a very good purchase.
It prints fast. its photos are of good quality, It was easy to set up and it is very easy to use.
I have only two niggles, one is that if printing multipul pages, the printer fires the paper out that fast that they end up on the floor, there is no paper catchment and two it could do with a cover for the top auto feed trays to protect from everyday dust getting into the gubbins.
Overall though it seems like another very good printer from HP.
I would recommend this to a friend!
