even better than the 8000 and 8500

The printer make clean clear copies/prints quickly. Set up is easy except for a minor issue of the fax vs printer which isn't clear, but easily fixed. The printer cartridge lasts longer than previous models and a lot longer than some competitors models, but still not the cost per copy of lasers from 20 years ago.
I would recommend this to a friend!

A ton of printer for the money

This Multifunction Printer (MFP) gives you a lot more in features and performance than the price indicates. This behemoth certainly looks the part (measure your space before buying...it's big). Installation is far superior to HP printers of old. No more drive-by installs of junk software that starts up with Windows and slows your computer to a crawl. You can decide what installs and what doesn't. In operation, everything is quieter, better, faster, easier than my previous MFP from the other major brand. Take your time exploring all the web-enabled functions. You gotta try ePrint. And that big touchscreen is a nice bonus...what a joy to use.
I wouldn't change a single thing. I've owned several MFPs, and this is the best ever.

Everything I was hoping this printer to be. Very easy to install. Had a few snags getting it shared with our internal network. The printer is simple to use. I'd like a little faster of a printer, but the print quality is wonderful. I love this printer so much that I'd like one at my home. The features are awesome! My only complaint is the price of HP's ink. This is the only reason I wouldn't buy an HP printer for my house.

What a great printer. Will do all you want and then some. Does really well on printing pictures also and I am impressed at how much less ink it uses. What a cost savings. It prints extremely fast too!
I'm glad I made the decision to get the Office Pro 8600 Premium e-All-in-one-N911n. This is such an improvement over my Photo smart. Thanks HP for such a fine printer.

I upgraded from a 8500 and this one is much faster and quieter.. Scanning is faster also. Connection to PC was a breeze.

Very easy to assemble from the box; working in about 10 - 15 minutes. Many very up to date features. Connected to internet very easily.

I purchased this product to use at my home. I had it unpacked and completely operational within 1 hour. I like that there is only one cord (power cord) to operate it from my wireless home office. It is loaded with useful features. I am completely satisfied with the print quality as it is laser-like. I considered purchasing a laser printer, but my research indicated that this machine was more economical. I am not disappointed. I have used all features of this multifunction machine except the fax and I give them each a high rating. It is a larger sized printed, but I was aware of that before purchasing. I recommend this printer for a home office use.

This my 5th HP printer I work as a merchandiser and need to be able print my call reports and fax those reports at the end of the day. The 8600 does the job perfectly
