didn't work and I fooled with it an hour and found some tabs in the battery compartment on a positive dpwn port that were preventing contact .I was able to pick them off with a finger nail . We will see it that is the end of the matter . I got it for those power outages we have from time to time .
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
