slightly dissapointing

This is my third HP printer and I am totally satisfied with the print quality as I was with the other two printers, my slight disappointment comes from the fact that no matter what I try I can't download any of the apps and although I have got the email address for it the function will not work for me hence only 3 stars.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Taking a chance on purchasing same printer.

This is the 2nd 6510 I have purchased. I was perfectly happy with the first purchase until after 15 months I had a problem with the much reported problem with the black ink not printing. Despite trying the various recommendations to correct the problem was not resolved. As I had been happy with the printer up to that point I decided to purchase another 6510 but if the same problem occurs with this 2nd purchase I will have to think very seriously about purchasing HP products in the future. I am a loyal HP customer having used HP printers in my working environment for over 20 years and always recommend HP products to work colleagues.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Good product / Poor ink efficiency

Bought this model after lots of research. My budget/scope was an mid-range printer with wireless & scan capabilities.
After a years use, I can just about recommend this model - just. It has an eloquent design which is pleasing on the eye. The printer is very easy to use via the smart panel or via the PC. The ability to scan to PC and the e-Print facility is really useful.
Unfortunately, the downside which, is quite a big one, is that the ink cartridges are used up ridiculously quickly (even when setting is on 'draft' mode). This is not helped by the fact that the cartridges are very small in themselves. Costs of cartridges are not cheap so this is a bit of a problem if you are a regular user. Thankfully the printer in our household isn't used that often so it is bearable.
Overall, 3/5 stars.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
