Problem

The print paper size shows 'Manage Customer Size' which I have used for years on an older HP B210a to print tickets does not work. The photo tray does not work and the ticket is printed on to the A4 paper in the main tray. Trying to find a solution with support

Over this seems a very adequate all in one device. It is especially nice in that I am in England and can use it without a transformer as it works with dual power system. It is relatively fast for the cost and the copies have been of very good quality. I can't report on photo reproduction quality as I haven't used it for this purpose as of yet.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Excellent home printer

After using Photosmart 4180 and 4280 all-in-ones for a number of years, our new 6510 device with wi-fi, allowing remote high quality printing for general use is an absolute boon, so easy to set up from our iMac and MacBook computers and much quicker in operation. I can see the advantages of an enclosed loaded paper tray. but I did like the opportunity of applying a little push to help heavier papers on their way on the previous printers. A 'post it' note on the back seems to overcome an occasional pick up problem with 'smooth back' 170 gm papers. Since changing over to hp printers I have only used hp inks and papers and have always been totally satisfied with the quality for small booklets I make, greeting cards and framed prints.

Very good buy

The HP Photosmart 6510 e-all in one printer was a very good buy. It is very easy to set up even the Wi Fi connection which took seconds to connect. The print quality is good and it is easy to change the ink cartridges. A very good all round printer. We use it for printing from the web, Photos, which are very easy, just plug in the memory card and you can print direct (no computer required), the on board screen is very bright and clear plus you can crop from it. scanning is also very easy, again no computer required.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This is my third HP printer and it's definitely the best so far.
Easy set-up over a wireless network and appears to work faultlessly after one month of activity. Very good photo and document printing quality.
Haven't yet found a 'domestic' use for e-printing but maybe that's something that will grow on me.
Brilliant scan-to-PC function, and document copies are simply run.

Apart from the software and connectivity problems, it worked ok for a while but only a couple of months with very light use (only on second set of cartridges. Wouldn't touch this product again as simply doesn't meet expectations of a printer. I also bought a similar model 5510 (for unity of cartridges) however given that HP cartridges cost three time more than online equivalents, I tried an alternative - however, the machine detects this and stops working - all extremely disappointing.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

worthwhile purchase

I now have good connectivity for all IT in the house with this wireless printer. I had a problem develop with the first item regarding the print head so contacted HP and received excellent customer service, a new printer arrived in 4 days with no issues. The print quality is good and the print operation itself is reasonably quiet and quick compared to my previous device. Set up is easy and the instructions provided were sufficient for this to be done in a few minutes. We have used all the multi function components and all work well. This printer is located in our study but have not had any issues with printing to it from any room in the house so far, this may be down to the router location and strength though.
I would recommend this to a friend!
