This is a great printer, can print from my iPhone, iPad & computer this is what I bought it. I had 2 download drivers from hp but no problems there.

HP 6510 e-All-in-One printer

Not a bad printer for the money, but could be so much better. Not a patch on my old HP 2175 all-in-one. The ink doesn't last long, there's no envelope chute, you have to take all the paper out each time you want to print an envelope, which is a pain. The software is not a patch on my old model, that had a very good program that enabled you to store all the photo's on your computer & work on any of them to edit & make things, not so this 6510. Also, if you put an A4 sheet in the copier & there is writing almost to the edge of the page it misses some off down one side, no matter where you position the page on the screen. In conclusion, I wouldn't buy another or recommend it to others!

Great Technology

My second PSC product from HP. Has made my life easier. Wifi enablement, touch screen, quality printing and on it goes. Had no problems so far though I'm the only user and its for personal home use. Will recommend but yet to print any pictures

AFTER HAVING MAMY PRINTERS I CAN SAY THIS IS THE BEST BY FAR YET I CAN FIND NO FAULT WITH IT, IT DOES EVERYTHING I WANT IN A PRINTER AND MORE

Disappointment

A smart machine that prints well. Lovely Photos.
But
It will not scan to my computer, which uses windows XP. I have tried several helps but always seem to get the same advice which has not worked. I realise the problem is likely to be with my computer as we tried the printer with my son-in-law's laptop and it scans to computer fine. It is nevertheless disappointing that I cannot use the full facilities of my new printer.
SO I would qualify my recommendation to "I would recommend this product, provided you have a computer that will allow the Scan to Computer function. I don't know how you find that out before you purchase"

What a printer!

This has to be the best HP printer I've ever had! Initially I bought it because it has separate ink cartridges, which means I just change the colour that's run out and not have to throw away a multi colour cartridge, with lots of ink left in the other two colours. Set up was so simple and quick...it's even possible to log into the home wi-fi through the printer itself, and it can go online to get its own software updates. The eprint function works without any fuss, just email whatever you want to print direct to the printer.
I thoroughly recommend this all in one printer. It simply does everything I ask of it and has the features of something costing much, much more. It even has separate trays for plain and photo paper!
I am so pleased I found this printer, it's definitely the best I've ever had!

Mixed feelings

When I purchased my printer on 29.11.12 I was delighted with it; it was fairly easy to install, and was up and running in no time. It was great; I loved it, a little noisy, but printing and scanning were a treat. I bought it to replace another HP printer that broke after 13 months. However, I now have very mixed feelings about it, as I came to print something yesterday and it is now refusing to work; it seems to have "lost connection with my laptop". I have now uninstalled it, but it is refusing to re-install at the moment. Perhaps someone could advise me on this?
