I was surprised how easy it was to set up the printer with my wifi
The ink, I can get from any supermarket,
And it prints like a real photograph.
How can you improve the printer ?
The screen could be bigger and editing software
Could be better but I am very happy with my HP printer

I am a bit of a techno idiot, having been brought up without computers but this is very easy to use. One screen touch to use. Ideal for me. Print quality superb. Scanning easy and printing with wireless marvelous. One click and your away. Brill. Sage

Worth every penny

This printer is brilliant. Cartridges are not too expensive and last a while (and I print quite a lot). I did not realise when we bought it but I am able to print to it from my iPhone and iPad - this is fantastic!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great printer for general family use.
Like the individual photo paper tray - impressed by the edge to edge printing.
Day to day print quality is good and the duplex printing option saves on paper. Scans quickly from the touch screen which is responsive and easy to use.
Wifi was easy to set up and really works for us as we all use laptops.
Slightly noisy when it re-positions the print heads - but not really a big problem.
Value for money 10/10.

Good value product

I bought this to replace an old HP F2290 that was getting a bit tired and it just works fine. Good print speed, good scanner/copier and fairly economical to use. I particularly like the wireless option and the little flip-up control panel.
Only downside is the scanner/copier is limited to fairly thin documents, with the old one the cover lifted up so it would take quite large books. Also with the paper feeding from the top rather than the front (as it did with the old one) this takes up a lot more space and had to be relocated but as it's wireless that's no problem.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This is the second printer i have purchased from HP in their photo smart range, which is an excellent product for my needs, as a home user.
The price i could not match anywhere else and delivery the following day of order is superb, coupled with their back up service a very good company to do busines with and i would recommend them to anyone and in fact have.
