OK but

Nice print quality when eventually set up. Easy to connect to network, but I found it awkward to configure with both laptop and PC due to windows 7 lacking driver. Neither were the instructions terribly clear on how to get the driver. Little bit slow to get going when turned on in a morning, and a bit noisy in use. Overall, fairly good value for money and I would expect it to stand the test of time with HP's quality reputation.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Recent purchase, but very pleased with this printer so far. Easy to set up, works well, and does double sided printing which saves paper. I would have no hesitation in recommending.

Wireless printer/scanner

I purchased this all in one as a replacement and alternative to my photo printer. I am satisfied with it in as much as set up was a doddle , very easy to use and being wireless I can site it out of view. Scan and printing both sides of documents is a real paper saver and with mobile printing and extra apps I find it quite versatile and user friendly. I am satisfied with the print quality in general but in all honesty would have to say not the best if you want top quality photos. Inks seem to run down fairly quickly and only 4 inks so I suppose this is one reason for the average picture quality and speed of ink used, there is a limit to how many print / photos even the best printers can do. For what I wanted at the price I am more than happy it is not a high priced high end product and is for occasional home use only.So to recap a neat easy to use all in one but not if you want to just print photographs. I hope you find this review helpfull.

Disappointed

No problems with the actual printing, although I think ink usage will be at the high end. Wi-fi and air printing worked OK to start with but neither are working at all now. Despite trying to find a solution on the HP site, the problems are still not resolved. The thing I really wanted, wi-fi, so that we could print from the laptop in another part of the house, is not working. Very disappointing.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We have been really impressed by the quality of the printing and the frugal use of ink-we are still using the half size inks supplied with the printer 4 weeks after purchase! It was simple to set up, no issues with wi fi connectivity, it just worked. Quiet and efficient. I print from my iPad and iPhone and it's so easy. Would definitely recommend it.

Great Service, Questionable Product

I first purchased this in February 2012, at first it worked very well, then after 6 months the touch screen froze. I contacted HP, who made some suggestions to cure the problem, but to no avail. So they sent me a new printer. The printer failed on start up. They sent me a further printer, this time on overnight service from the Czech Republic to the UK. Again the printer did not get past the start up. By this time it was getting embarrassing. I again contacted HP and again, after they rang me from Brussels a further printer was sent overnight. So far this printer is working OK, fingers crossed. When the printer works it is excellent. The service from HP and their haulier UPS was exemplary. Perhaps I have just been unlucky, with a faulty component.
