A bit mysterious?

Love the speed and general ease of use of this printer, but it has a mysterious occasional fault when it just won't print! I then follow all the "help" instructions which tell me it's fine! After this sometimes it prints, sometimes it doesn't! Have to then fiddle about via the hardware/software programmes and it then obliges. Other times, it's fine.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I originally purchased a 5510, but took it back as it would not due what I required, contradictory to currys staff. I changed for a 6510 but my lap top will not except the change. I do not ring 0871, 0844, 09 numbers, so im stuck with my problems.
I would recommend this to a friend!

great upgrade

i bought the 6510 to use the iprint facility and i wasn't disappointed.
my previous printer the C309g had duplex printing but relied on an extra piece hung on the back.
this gives double sided printing in such a compact printer.
the facility to print from my iphone and ipad is tremendous....!!!

Adequate for my requirements

I had to replace my previous HP all in one scanner printer after only 18 months, which seems to be in accord with manufactures inbuilt obsolescence nowadays.Fortunately I had taken out a 3 year extended warranty. I decided not to have the Fax facility, hence the reduced facilities on this model. Sorting out the way to print envelopes was complex, unlike the earlier model it replaced. It has been a nightmare getting the facilities to function; still can't get the photo tray to work, more aggravation required to achieve this!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great all-rounder

Firstly I am a light home user so cannot comment on heavy or office use, but this printer has met all my needs so far.
It was a very simple set up out of the box and easily connected to my wireless network with very little effort or technical expertise required.
Both my iPad and iPhone found the printer straight away too and printed without the need for any further set up or pairing.

Printing is crisp and clear on both photos and documents, speed is reasonable and the whole process is a lot quieter than expected. One thing to mention is that when the printer has been idle for a while it goes through a start up cycle of 30 seconds or so with lots of whining and buzzing.
Scanning and copying are without issue and of high quality. The built in features provide lots of additional uses and editing options without the need of your pc.
The printable colouring pages and games for the kids are a great addition.

Overall a good quality realiable product with great functionality and features that is easy to use.

HP products outshine their rivals in style and quality and price. Features are user friendly and are very easy to understand. Set up is very user friendly and is completed in a matter of minutes

Excellent, fast and easy to use. Very low ink consumption and true to life photos. 2 side copying is easy and quick. Love it! Best printer I have had and I do a lot of printing for work and for photos. I hugely recommend
