Drops wi fi connection within minutes. Everything done that's been suggested to fix it but clearly a sofware problem as it was working perfectly before the update.
Well known issue not being resolved by HP. Very poor.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This machine is good value and is straightforward to use. The seperate CMYK inks are very practical and easily available to replace. The scanner is a clever addition as are the app and e-mail facilities. This is a low end performance machine and this shows in the printing where a slight bleed occurs at the final end of the paper. So not top quality but perhaps acceptable for private use. Examples of printing on 6x4 and A4.

Unreliable network connection

I bought this printer primarily for use with my iPad. I keep getting "No AirPrint enabled found" messages when I try to use it direct on the WiFi network. However, if I use the facility to send items to a dedicated email address, the printing works fine. I can only assume there's something wrong with the way it broadcasts its identity on the network, or some incompatibility with my iPad. Every time I want to use it, I have to reboot it, which is a bit of a pain, to say the least.f
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Returned my first HP Photosmart 6510e because it said there was no ink inserted (which there was). Replacement will not pick up photopaper from the photopaper tray and prints photos on A4 paper. Also, HP Photo Creations states that it has stopped working (never has worked) . I am upset that I might have to return this printer a second time as I have paid twice to have it set up for me. Not happy!!!!. Cannot find out where to contact for help with these two problems!!
