Not fit for purpose .

Looks nice, feels nice, not too expensive. Trouble is it drew dark lines down my photographic prints. Took it back to shop who agreed it was not suitable and gave me another. It was just the same so bought another make instead. It is fine. The faulty lines were not the kind that the instructions offered to help, they were the return to service dept kind. Shame.

Very pleased with this printer especially the printing on both sides. I print a newsletter for a small community and it saves me a lot of work

A Must for Photos

A great buy, the photos are of lab quality and that is the main reason for buying it. The copying and scanning is first class, but more instruction should be given on its use via the computer. For example, I put all my photos on Picasa and it took some working out how to get the printer to print through the photo tray. I had 4 photos printed on the A4 paper before I figured it out. I still can`t get the photos that I received by e mail to print from the photo tray. Finally, I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because it is a little noisy and clunky sounding, but it is worth putting up with that.

I purchased this printer as I like to make personal greeting cards and need good quality colour printing. This printer certainly produces the best photo prints and coloure pictures of any printer I have owned
For the price, I would say, it is probably one of the best around

Excellent printer, photo quality as per commercial printers; set up very easy, wireless works a dream. Slight issues with downloading apps to the printer but this does not detract from overall score.

A really good buy

My last HP printer was starting to play up after 5 years of good use. I needed something that was easy to use, produced reasonably priced B/W copies and could also be used for good quality photos. It filled all these boxes and also enabled all my family members to access it from their computers without having to keep switching cables. A really good buy.

Fully featured and dead easy to set up out of the box. Connects quickly when switched on so no significant delay warming up, prints almost immediately. Compact unit, everything to hand but kept tidy. Removable paper tray so very easy to fill. Fast printing, on fast draft setting more than adequate for everyday use with better quality available when needed for photos etc. Scanner excellent, gives top quality reproductions. Good value for money.

Very disappointed

Have HP Touchsmart so went for same make printer in the hope that they would get on with each other. First printer flatly refused to connect and was changed the following day by PC World. New one was OK with very limited use for a few weeks but now computer says I can't use scanner as someone else is using it ( it's on my single user wifi network) whilst printer states it's not connected. The online Help may well be useful for IT savvy people but too complex for an amateur. One failure is understandable but two in quick succession is really not good enough.
