I'm very pleased with this purchase. Set up was very easy, the eprint service is great and printing wirelessly from my iPad is faultless. Well done HP.

my old hp had broke and I was looking at replacing with one with cheap inks, wireless and easy to use. this fit the bill perfectly. I love it. and my son loves the colouring sheets. I also printed my first photo !!!!

HP Photosmart 6510

I bought this printer a few weeks ago, having been using the C6380. Although the quality of the 6510 is excellent the software that comes with it seems like an afterthought especially when using it for photo printing. You have no preview of the print and it is very difficult to know the end result, this leads to wasted photo paper. After using the C6380 solution panel which is excellent I cannot images why HP did not use the same setup.

Pros - Very easy to set up wirelessly on two computers. Simplicity itself to print directly from either computer. Automatic double-sided printing works very well. Print quality good although no photos printed as yet.
Cons - At times very noisy when recharging ink. HP keep asking whether you want program updates without saying what piece of equipment they are for (I also have an HP desktop as well as another make laptop). Also should updates for the printer be downloaded twice - once on each computer and loaded on both? Paper tray and 'catcher' feels very flimsy although no problems with them as yet.. Cost of inks!
Overall a good reasonably priced wireless printer which so far does everything well.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
