Not the best buy

Based on the cost this is a printer for printing black and white documents and scanning which it does very well. If you are printing photos beware, it eats ink and photos when printed are duller in comparison to how they appear on your PC/laptop screen. Tech support could not help with this so I assume it’s down to the printer. A bit of a disappointment really.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This is a perfect printer for this computer age. It is printer that does it all. The wireless in it with the ePrint that allow you to print straight from your phone is fantastic.

Because this is a wifi printer there is only one cable. Brilliant. Once I realised the paper tray pulled right out I have had no issues.

This product is excellent value for money, small and compact and so easy to follow instructions and use. As proven to be reliable and efficient, easy to obtain ink cartridges. One of the best investments I have ever made, backed up by a wonderful service team of HP people.

A decent printer but ...

No complaints about the quality of prints, scans or photocopies.
Minor grumble that ink monitoring seems to go straight from 'full' to 'empty', which makes it very hard to maintain a handle on usage.
Major grumble that (1) original driver is very limited, while (2) updated driver not only very difficult to find, download and install, but simply will not run on my Windows 7 system.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Not good as a wireless printer

I have had bad experience of this printer continuously dropping network connection, having changed the channel on my router several times to address the situation it is still not good. To be brutally honest HP have not been very forthcoming in help for this issue. I find the online help pretty dire. As a printer its not bad, but find the scanning software very basic and am unable to find instructions to increase the size when using as a copier
