All I wanted to do is download and print from my memory stick.
Whilst the printer has several functions I am unable to download from my standard memory stick as it does not fit the large slot on the front of the machine. I spoke to the supplier, Staples who informed me that I could obtain a carrier from Maplins Electrical but they do not know anything about it.

This would have been a great printer if we could have used the wireless printing, hours were spent trying to get our iMac to recognise it, the router knew it was there the iMac knew it was there when the USB was used but without the USB the iMac couldn't find it nor my daughters laptop or the iPad, infuriating after hours of re installing we gave up and used the USB. Then after a week we couldn't turn it off so it got too hot and refused to print ..... we returned it and got a refund, disappointing as we have always used Hp.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This has got to be the best Printer we have ever had. My wife and I ( She is a writer and I am a photographer) use the e-Print feature from time to time.
We have never had a failure yet.
It is reliable fast and accurate especially with colours in some odd lighting conditions.

bought this item for printing photos used it several times with excellent results then the printer would not accept the memory card tried another memory card would not accept this either reported this and had a new printer delivered only to have the same fault to happen again very disappointing what do i do now ?

supreme printer

An old, alternative make, printer was being replaced but the quality of pictures by the 5510 from a photo it scanned amazed me. Considering that two processes were involved by the HP the results were and continue to be a revelation. The choice of printing options is a welcome advance from the previous device.
The phone support from HP is a useful back-up.

easy to install onto the main wireless router,
easy to install onto the laptops,
I have three teenage children, 19, 16 & 15
printing everyday from their rooms. my home office is now as busy as a small business.
