Good in parts

Pleased with printing quality and speed. However it seems to have decided that having been on for a while that it will suddenly refuse to talk (wirelessly)to PC . Ok with lap top in other room but have to reboot PC to print at all.
Have spent ages on support and forums but just cannot bear to spend any more time trying to put it right.
One HP person said that this is sometimes a problem with BT routers

No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Not very impressed, it started to print streaks almost immediately with new cartridge from the box. Otherwise it is ok if a little slow to connect on wireless

Poor Wireless Reliability

The product is sold as primarily a wireless device (no USB cable is provided, for example, although the printer has connections to allow wired use). The wireless connection is, however, problematic. Within the 1st week of use my computer twice was unable to "see" the printer. The primary fix offered by HP (the initial "add printer" function) failed to fix the problem. The secondary fix, sent to your desktop as a download by HP, involves shutting down your router, disconnecting from the power and then reconnecting and booting up after 30s. You have to do the same with the printer; then shutdown and reboot your computer. It's an awful lot of hassle to print a page of information!!!
The same has just happened again. My computer cannot "see" the printer even though the printer is connected to the network.
And when the computer can't "see" the printer, every few seconds the HP software trys to find the printer. Which takes up computer resources and slows the computer for that momentary search period.
It is exceptionally annoying and I can't find the underlying fault and/or fix on HP's website. I will now be buying a USB cable and trying out wired printing to see if that is more reliable.
Whatever happened to "plug and play"?
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Good all round printer

Good printer. Easy to install but had a few problems after installation especially trying to connect with I pad. However once sorted it works well. A little noisy. Good quality printing, especially for photos.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Beautiful printing. Lots of options to choose from regarding print, speed, apps,etc. Prints colour pictures well even on plain paper. A really good buy.

I have found the HP 5515 to be a very useful and easy to use copier. It is easy to set up, run and operate .So far it seems to be very reliable in operation and produces good quality copies on a routine daily use .The ink usage is very resonable.The one, important ,downside is that i have had considerable difficulty in using it for printing photographs where it seems strangely reluctant to reproduce the appropriate colours .
I would generally recommend it as a good purchase and value for money..
