too noisy and flimsy

although print quality is ok, found printer to be very noisy and the plastic casing seems very flimsy and poor quality, not as solid as my previous hp

I have to say we bought this printer about a month ago, so easy to install and use. Well worth the money. we bought with spare inks included which is a bonus. Up to now 10 out of 10

Great printer

My printer was a replacement my last one was still under guarantee when it went wrong I spoke to HP about it & it was replaced without any fuss. My new one is fabulous ,lovely photo prints,brilliant colours so easy to use with the touch screen.The scan & copy facillities are excellent & so fast .The card reader is very useful.Not only all this if you need help & you are a begginer like me you will get patience & respect.

This printer is the best printer I've ever owned.
It was simple to set up, I can have it a different room to where I'm working, so am not bothered by the noise of the printer in use as I was with my previous printers. It is very straightforward to use. One of the best features is the fact that I can enlarge and decrease the size of work with the photocopy option. I didn't think I'd be comfortable with using wi-fi, but have changed my mind. The colour quality is amazing! Recommended....

Excellent printer, though noisy

This printer just does everything it should. It was very easy to set up as a wireless network printer and has been 100% reliable in the first two months. I learned not to switch it off, but leave it to go into standby, to avoid having to reset the wireless connection.
My one disappointment, and the reason it gets 4 instead of 5 stars, is that it is noisy! The printer is set up in the living room and makes it impossible for others to watch the TV when printing or scanning.

had this printer 1 month and it just not working!!! taking it back to shop. I gets stuck on the touch screen once it has a problem!! i will not scan to computer if it needs ink!! and bought new ink and it still saying it needs ink !!! what a waste of money

This printer has made my life a lot easier!

If you have an iPad or tablet computer and you're anything like me, you rarely turn your PC on these days. The only problem I had was printing but when I saw the 5510 was compatible with the iPad and iPhone I bought it right away.
I have to say it's the best printer I've owned and it prints great from my iPhone and iPad, and with the HP app I can do remote scanning as well! Just when you thought it couldn't get better you can print to your printer from the other side of the world.
My father and father-in-law have since bought this printer and we can remote print to each other. Fantastic stuff.
The best bit is that it just works. No fuss.
If you have kids the printer hooks up online to offer you disney line drawings you can print off so your kids and colour them in. It's a great little touch but has been received well in my home. The print quality is excellent and it doesn't take all day to print either.
This is the best HP printer, in fact the best printer I've owned hands down.
I would recommend this to a friend!
