Very pleased with the product. Installation was easy and it worked first time.
I have iPads, MacBook Pro and Windows 8 and all systems print via wireless and the laptops scan via wireless. I have used it on Lion and Mountain Lion.
The printer is a 18+ meters from my router but wireless reception has never been a problem.
Gives the iPad a new dimension as I can now just print off photos, Pages docs etc without having to turn on MacBook.
Only complaint it is very noisy when first switched on. Not a problem for me.
Note to HP. If technically possible it would be great to have an iPad App that would read scanner.
I would recommend this to a friend!

USB Cable Please?

Printer is good in printing documents. I haven't printed any multi color documents just black and white letter. Printer speed is good and a bit quiet. Sometimes the file that I print doesn't reach the printer so I have to do it twice or thrice that is why I need to buy a USB cable.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This is a great printer.
Set up is very easy and connected to my network straight away.
The print quality is very good.
i like how easy it is to email print job from anywhere.
i sent pictures whilst on holiday.
The apps available are good, although mostly focused if leave in America.
Still a great printer and cheap to run as has separate ink cartridges, so only need to replace when required.
if you wanting a cheap wireless printer, go for this. *****

I am very pleased with the printing quality, But I have not had the photosmart 510 more than about 4 months and I am already buying my 3rd set of inks, I only use it for personnal use but it really does use up a lot of ink. I would not buy again. My other hp printer was far less greedy and it was only 2 cartrages.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I've been using this printer for five weeks, and so far so good. I particularly like the paper tray that sits neatly at the front of the machine, loads easily and pulls the paper through well. I also like the way the scanner can be controlled through the computer.
Setting up was somewhat problematic - it seemed to keep on wanting to print alignment checks - but it's fine now and (so far) print quality is very good.
I would recommend this to a friend!
