++: Good quality scanning & printing. Convenient choice of options including printing from overseas.
--: Can be very noisy (have yet to find a printer that isn't). Fiddly to set up. Could have been a little sturdier.
Tip: Loses wireless connection to PC infrequently so worth saving shortcut to desktop.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This product, though not the flagship of the HP line, is feature packed and produces very high quality photos. Ideal for regular, steady home use. I would add that the best part was the after sales service and advice.

Poor Machine

I have had this machine Twice (returned one as I thought it was faulty only to find 'faults' are standard on this model)
The 5510 is not a patch on the earlier (Older) models of HP Printers.
Also not a patch on the 3050A all in one which my dad bought, I only bought this one because I like individual inks.
Scanner is poor and suffers from lines across the pictures which I'm told is caused by 'interference' from other electricals... this is at the end of the day a 'desk top machine' so shouldn't it then be able to withstand a certain amount of electricals near it?
Printing... is nice reproduction, clean and clear but extremely noisy, I have never come across a printer that is this noisy before, as I said above have tried two now and both were equally loud
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This is a brilliant printer, and prints good photos, was recommended to have HP printer by guy that repairs/helps me out with my laptop and he is hotstuff when it comes to IT.

I recently purchased my printer after my old HP Printer gave up the ghost after many, many years hard and very reiable work.
My Photosmart 5510 e-All-in-One printer although very different to my old one, it is equally as good and a great deal better in so many respects.
The print quality is excellent.
It is so much more user friendly and although a great deal more compact, carries and even bigger punch so to speak.
It is in my oppinion, an outstanding bit of kit.
Much as I loved my old printer this one is far,far better!!!!!
