Frustration

Having used HP printers and scanners without problems since buying my first Pc, I had no hesitation in choosing the all inclusive 5510e when my old Deskjet 610C gave up the ghost recently. I struggled to set up the wireless connection in the beginninng, being somewhat nervous with computers (I'm a silver surfer) but succeeded. The convenience of a printer and scanner on a separate table; Great! Updates were recommended and installed. Since then the wireless facility refuses to work! The control panel says connected; the printer is set to work on-line; it is 2mtrs from the Pc; I have to connect a USB cable if I want to print! I have tried the troubleshooters to no avail, I get into a loop!!!! I'm close to throwing it through the window or should I fire it out of a Cannon??? At least it photocopies still. Buy at your peril.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

A Regular Block

We are now on our third HP Photosmart 5510 e-All-in-One Printer...and I must say the staff at 'John Lewis' on Orchard Road, London have been fantastic with replacing.
The same thing has happened on both printers - the ink spindle gets stuck on the RHS and cannot be moved. You'd think there would be something to lift it to move it, but it gets jammed and won't budge.
This is my final HP 5510-e printer....if it happens again, I will find another product.
When it works, it is great!

Very happy with this product

Having spent quite a while looking at reviews and comparing this printer's features with others, I decided to purchase the HP Photosmart 5510e- All in One Printer. We also own another much older HP, which is still going strong and that also had some bearing on my decision.
The printer was primarily intended for use by my 2 teenage children as a second printer, being used upstairs where they sit and do their homework. In fact my 13 year old son set up the printer by himself and it has been working well ever since. They are very happy with everything, especially the wireless feature! They do the homework, press a button and hey presto! - the homework is sitting there waiting for them. Previously they had to walk from the bedroom with their laptop, connect up to the printer and wait while it printed.
Some other reviews I had read, mentioned the alignment being a problem but we have not had any such problems.
A very good product, even better as I managed to find it during sale time - so well worth the money!

I can honestly say the hp 5510 All-in-one printer is joy to use , the envelope printing facility is a particular delight and so easy.

i selected this printer for its WiFi facility and have been very impressed with its performance and also been able to use it through other devices as well, great product
I have the printer installed under my Tv in the living room and it does not look out of place with all the other equipment
