Really happy with this printer. Love all the features it has especially with it being wireless as well. Don't think you can beat HP printers.

Great improvement

This is the second HP printer I have purchased, with other makes in between. I stopped using the first because of the waste of ink when replacing the cartridges. Now I have the perfect solution - an HP inkjet printer with all its first class performance, together with separate colour cartridges which is so much less wasteful. Well done HP. What I have is high quality and speed in addition to more economical usage.

Great all in one

Really pleased with the features and speed, too early to say on the ink usage but really happy with the quality of the whole package. Have scanned over 1000 photos and edited them so far which have sat in a box so just for that alone it has been a great purchase. It's a positive recommendation so far.

Brilliant little Printer

I bought this as a second printer, since my Office Laser supplies are extortionate.
I liked the clean simple lines and impressively quiet smooth operation during print.
From opening the box to my first A4 photo took a little over 10 minutes.
The first picture had a lot of banding, but this I expected since the cartridges and printer were brand new! The second photo was 95% better, but by the third it was spot on.
Wireless setup was seamless and network printing from three devices was possible within 30 minutes.
The Touch sensitive colour display is great and the GUI is intuitive, simple and fun to use.
Copy and scan on the fly as easy as wink, but scan to PC is beautifully simple and fast.
This is as the title suggests a little Gem.

Too early to be sure

So far I am mainly pleased with the quality of printed photos and the colour cartridges. I've not yet worked out how to scan a photo to store digitally. The installation was easy and helpful with the digital demos. My main concern at the moment is the feeding of the paper for straightforward printing. Sometimes the body of the text comes out slightly lopsided, and sometimes there is a crease down the sheet of paper as it feeds through, even though I try to make sure the paper is placed in the proper position before printing. The printer definitely does not like the cheaper 70 gram paper.

As with previous reviewers I have found that the printing is slightly to one side. It's fairly noisy but it does the job and that's the main thing.

HP Photosmart 5510e All in One

I don't recommend this printer for wireless purposes. After returning the first printer I ended up getting a refund. The printer was not recognsed on my computer and the scan facility would not function correctly. I was very patient and reinstalled a number of times but could not correct the errors.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
