A product that makes me smile

Bought this as an emergency purchase but so impressed - you can email the printer from your phone and it prints out the email and recognisable attachments, print quality good, wireless capability very useful and very easy to set up!
I would recommend this to a friend!

A good product

I recently needed a new printer. Since I subscribe to "Which" Magazine, my search for a new printer started there. The HP Photosmart 5510e All-in-One appeared as a "Best Buy". I checked as many reviews as I could find and most were good. There were some detractors though - some people complained about flimsy paper guides, mis-aligned print and operational noise. After careful consideration I decided to buy. I have not been disappointed. Because of the comments about mis-alignment and flimsy paper guides I was very careful to follow the instructions about setting up the first scan and aligning the paper guides and that resulted in perfection! I have found the print quality and the colour reproduction to be very good. I don't know about the value for money of the printer cartridges because I haven't used up the first set yet, but "Which" Magazine claimed good results. The only reason that I haven't given the printer five stars rather than four is because of the noise. Yes, it is noisy but I tend to be amused rather than annoyed by it and in any case I am usually in a different room to the printer with my laptop and by sending my print jobs wirelessly to the printer I don't have to listen to it's clunks and rattles. So, overall a good product and I doubt that there is currently a better one available for the price.

I like this product because it is compact and very easy to use. Produces excellent copies and prints-offs.
I have only given it 4 stars because I have not yet used the scanner or printed any photos, but I expect they are very easy to do also.

Great Printer

This has been a great printer so far. The fact I can connect wirelessly or send print jobs via the printer's own email makes things easier. Printing quality is good too, especially photos printed on photographic paper.
The downside of the unit is maybe the build quality. The plastic doesn't feel rigid enough and children can easily break fragile parts. However, if taken care of, function does not suffer.
I would recommend this printer.

Good But Not Quite AIO

This is a good printer from HP and easy to instal. Not noisy with a good range of quality outputs. I am disappointed that it does not seem able to scan and convert text for editing, unless someone knows something I have not yet found out. Despite that, it is a good moderately priced printer/image scanner.
I would recommend this to a friend!
