After looking at a variety of printers we were pointed in the direction of this printer by an in store salesperson. It was very easy to set up and to date we have no problems with the printing or changing of the colour cartridges. A very good buy.

Good Printer

Initially, after putting the ink cartridges into the printer, it just displayed an error message and suggested powering off. After trying three times with the same result, I pushed the printer carriage back towards the rest position, and after a load clunk the printer was then ok
It is quite a bit noisier than my previous printers (both HP), especially when you initially power on, The printing is fast, and the quality is great, but occasionally it prints the page slightly skewed - this is down to the paper tray guides getting knocked (they move quite easily).
The ink cartridges don't seem to last as long as I expected, but this may just be that I've used it more since getting it.
The touchpanel on the front is really easy to use and gives clear information when the printer is in use.
The wireless function was also easy to set up, although you should make sure the printer has a static address otherwise you need to mess about each time you want to print (as the computer cannot always find the printer.
Would have given it 5 stars if it hadn't been for the initial trouble. Good printer overall..

I am extremely pleased with my HP Wi-Fi printer. I love the freedom of being able to print from downstairs, BUT it was so easy to install. I managed it and I am in my 60s and female. Not a man in sight. Would recommend it to anyone as the quality is also great. And the inks that came with the printer did work.

A perfectly adequate printer - setup was straightforward, wireless connection efficient, document printing clear and quick - except for photo printing where reproduction particularly of black and white is not an accurate copy using either its own built-in scanner or a high quality stand alone scanner. Unfortunate in that I bought the printer specifically to print photos. It was suggested that a photo black cartridge would help but I could not find anywhere that sold them!
