HP wireless printer

I bought my first HP5510 wireless printer, mainly for use with my macbook laptop although I also have it connected to my desktop pc via a usb cable. Despite some review comments re setup difficulties with macs I didn't experience any major problems. That having been said, I still haven't managed to get the scanner to work properly (i.e. at all) with either computer. For now I'll put that down to me not giving the matter sufficient thought or following instructions. Whilst I'm sure it's not a printer fault, potential purchasers should be aware of this issue. Overall a very good printer which performs as well as expected.
I would recommend this to a friend!

For a beginner and someone changing their printer the instruction book is poor, it doesn't give enough info on the product. You get two thick booklets but the English part is very short and not enough help when new to the product. Once you have overcome this it is a good product although a bit noisy when operating

Does exactly what it says in the manufacturer's write up
Easy to set up and works really well with our 3 laptops, ipad2 and iPhone.
Good price and inks easy to replace.
Would certainly recommend this to anyone wanting a good quality all-in-one printer.

Bought this printer for my home. It gets plenty of use with my school age children constantly printing homework. The cartridge is the same one we got with the printer and it is still half full after many months of use. Very easy to set up wired and wirelessly. We can print from anywhere. It is very easy to use for printing scanning and copying. Would definitely recommend

Work eprint to my iPad

Good value and fine with my wireless connection to my HP Laptop, but wont eprint to my iPad 2 as it says on the box. It seams that this printer's eprint facility is not compatible with my Belkin F5D 8636-4 v2 router, a pity because this was the point of the purchase ! If you have a Belkin router make sure it will work with this HP eprinter.

Very Poor Advice

I purchased 5510 to replace earlier photosmart printer. However was not advised that this printer was not really compatible with windows7 and 64bit. On trying to install the printer the windows system crashed completely and I have had to pay for the problem to be fixed. Apparently from various posts on the web this problem is well known and HP should have sorted it or advised the problem before purchase. Very poor of HP not to be aware of the problem.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
