Disappointing

We are still having problems with the printer. It has been difficult to connect it consistently to our home network and it is erratic in its operation. When it does print the results are fair but we have had to do so much troubleshooting (which seems to be ongoing) that the results have been limited.
Unfortunately, we could not recommend the machine because we still have not surmounted the teething problems and, although we have sought help online, we have been unable to solve them.

Brilliant

I bought this item because I needed a wi-fi item to connect to my iPad.
The printer is a bit 'clunky' - unlike my previous HP printers. This concerned me at first but it seems to be a little idiosyncrasy and I have now got used to that.
The printing quality is excellent and I was really surprised how well it scanned in and printed a high quality photo.
very flexible and does lots of things.
It was easy to set up and link to our PC, Laptop and iPad.
I looked at various printers before purchasing but as usual I was drawn to the neat styling of HP. A little bulky compared to my previous printer but then it does incorporate a scanner.
Pretty intuitive to use.
Overall - a very pleased customer and I hope it continues to be the case.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Easy to set up - skewed printing

This is great and easy to set up. The only problem is that it prints skewed. There are plenty of forums about this problem and getting a replacement will also yield the same problem. I spent a long time trying to fix this issue and finally discovered a fix by filling up the paper tray full so that the side paper guides do not move (which is the reason for the problem). It's a manufacturing defect and this is just a painful workaround.
I just put up with it as it is too much of a pain to go through the warranty return process.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

A great budget printer

Bought this printer as it is in the "Best buy list" from Which, and lives up to its name.
Easy to set up, great looking prints.
Only dislike so far is it is noisy when first switched on. Highly recommended.

Does exactly what it says on the box. Excellent.
HP excels again. The HP 5510 replaced my old and trusted HP 930 printer and HP 3400 scanner that had both done 11 years of fault free service. PC, Laptop and I-pad all accessing wirelessly.

the HP5510e. If you are looking for a fast
reliable quality printer then take a look at
the 5510e. The phot printing properties are
fantastic. I am absolutely delighted with
my purchase.

pretty good buy

It is good value for money.. It is very noisy so if you do a lot of printing (which I don't) then think twice. I need to get used to all the icons on it's screen. but overall I am pretty happy.
