HP 5510 best printer I've ever had

This was bought as a printer for the whole family but with the extra feature being I can print pictures from my I phone & other wireless devices . It is very good quality printing and very fast as well ! The best part was the ease with which I set it up one evening on my own with only the touch screen on the printer as my guide ! Foolproof and quick from start to finish !!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Noisy but plods on ...

Despite the "Photosmart" brand this was purchased as a general printer to support wireless networking at home; photos are produced on a higher spec non-wireless unit.
The features and facilities reported on HP's web-site were initially confusing to someone who has not yet experienced the "Cloud" and ePrint etc. Further confusion followed with what seemed to be a random and inconsistent collection of price discounts offered by HP; who apologised for incomplete removal of previous offers from the site.
I don't use ePrint etc. so the unit is not left on stand-by. This means start up is noisy and, because of the noise, it seems to be slower than my previous routine printer.
Print quality is reasonable for the price BUT the prints are skewed by 2-3 mm on the page. This is noticable on formal letters etc. HP is aware of this from it's customer forum but no fix has been identified.
Scan and copy appear satisfactory although OCR lite software is not included.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

really decent printer with good photo reproduction . The wireless capabilty makes it easy to print from several computers. The email print also works well and is useful. All in all a very satisfactory purchase

I chose this printer based on the recommendations of other owners. I wasn't disappointed and would recommend it to anyone that is looking for an affordable home printer that can be accessed from anywhere.

Having had quite a few printers over the past few years I was given the HP Photo Smart for christmas. Set up was simple and straight forward printing quality excellent. Have recommended to several of my freinds already
