non wireless!!!

can only give this printer max 3 stars, wifi printing is not good, keeps dropping connection and it is only 3 feet from the router...very disappointed. Also support not what is should be

this printer is working really well.It is quiet enough in operation and prints very good copies at a reasonable speed.It was a doddle to set up wireless operation and overall i am very impressed with this printer.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I got this printer because the one i have had some years now the ink is no longer easy to get .So i look around and saw this one .I was over the moon with it .It easy to install and to work .it the best printer i have bought .

Disappointing

I replaced my trusty old HP deskjet 5552 of 8 years with this all-in-one unit. My biggest initial shock was with the noise that the printer made. Every movement of the ink carraige created an awful grinding noise. I thought this doesn't sound normal and internet research showed no similar issues with this model. To their credit, HP replaced the machine straight away, but the new one makes exactly the same awful noise, so it must be a feature of this model. While print quality seems good on documents, the photo printing, even at max resolution, does not seem to produce the vibrant rich colours that my old model did. What this unit does do, is fantastic scans and its wireless connection and e-print facilities are first class. All in all, its the noise that I dislike most, as most of my photos I get printed professionally anyway.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Excellent value

I was originally going to buy a Wi-Fi print server to go with my existing printer but found I could buy this Wi-Fi printer for around the same price. As I was also thinking of buying a scanner as well, that clinched the decision.
Setup took no time at all and everything worked first time. Print quality is excellent and I particularly like the fact that scanned documents appear as Pdf files.
The only downside is the the amount of clanking and clunking, presumably associated with initialisation, after switching on. Only a small niggle really, but it's the sole reason for not giving it 5 stars.

excellent product,easy to set up and easy to use with high quality results,very impressed with how simple it was to learn all the various features it offers,and should i find im unsure of something the 'help' feature is superb and soon puts you on your way again,wether you are printing photo's,copying,scanning,or using the built in apps the final results are indeed impressive.the only down side i could honestly say is when trying to use new apps they always are unavailabe! to download straight to printer,but im hoping this is just for the apps to catch up with the printers.
