Great Android Dock

I am very pleased with this product. I use it with my Samsung Epic 4G Touch, and the charging port on the bottom works great. I was able to connect it through bluetooth immediately and have been streaming Pandora ever since.
The only thing that keeps this from being a full 5 star rating from me is the Fidelio software from the android market. It's helpful for some stuff, but generally unnecessary, and when the phone is connected to the dock, the notification is permanently on the status bar and it can't be removed. Since this product is still fully functional without the software (only the equalizer presets won't be available), I will happily uninstall the software and enjoy my new docking station.
Pros: bluetooth
Cons: fidelio software

Does what is promised but not what I would expect

For use with an Android device, it does what it needs to do. Connects easily and plays music. Sound quality is what I would expect from a device this size. A bit dull and flat though, high frequencies seem to be missing. What I would expect for this price. Also connects to my Ipad 2. What it does not do is connect to my Windows 7 machine. When I try to connect, my Windows machine detects a bluetooth headphone, two com ports are added in bluetooth management with the name Philips AS351 and that is it. Windows complains about a missing driver and points me to a Broadcom website. The detection tool downloaded there does not find usable Bluetooth devices and sends me to the manufacturer. Philips does not provide Windows bluetooth drivers for this device. Elsewhere I find comments from others with the same issue. I am a A+ certified computer technician and conclude bluetooth connection from a Windows machine to this bluetooth speaker is not possible.
Pros: works out of the box easy, connects quickly to your android device, connects to ipad
Cons: does not connect to windows machines, sound quality a bit flat
This speaker was very easy to set up via Bluetooth and sounds very good. I like that it can work with batteries for outdoor use. The only issue I have is that it can be tricky to get your phone docked with how the design is. Note- if your phone is docked while on batteries, it will not charge your device only does this when plugged in. Overall it meets my needs to be able to play my google music from my phone.

Great idea but won't charge Droid Boinic

I set up the doc this morning and was able to sync everything and start playing music right away. I really like the Bluetooth connection and ease of using the unit. Great sound and I like the app on the phone for weather, time and alarm.
However, it will not charge my Droid Bionic via the main mini USB. This even after updating the firmware (which is done over the phone via the Bluetooth). To me, it feels like the mini-USB is not engaging the port when connecting. I base this upon how I get a feeling of some resistance when connecting to my charging cable.
If the unit charged my phone, I'd give it 5 stars and be yelling from the highest mountains for everyone that has an Android device to get it.
Entire point of getting the unit was to have a charging doc and speaker system. Looks like I'll be returning it tonight. :(
Pros: bluetooth conection
Cons: won't charge my phone

Love it but you can't use a case

I love everything about this docking station except for the way the phone sits on the docking station. If you have a case your phone the pegs that they have to support your phone evenly on the charge will prevent your phone from sliding all the way down on the charger. If you have a soft bottom to your case you will have to trim out most of the bottom of your case to get it on the charger. It would be great if they offered an extension that you could put on the charger to make it longer if you have a case.
