Very weak product

Since we started using these docking stations which we use with the 840G1 laptops, we have had quite a few which have failed. Like another reviewer the issue seems to be with the weak screws inside which simply are not good enough to hold the latching mechanism together. I have opened one up and found what seems to be a metal screw going into plastic which over time just wears out.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Docking station is great, the only flaw is the design means the HDMI port ( on the right of elite book) is inaccessible when docked so you can only connect via VGA......but that's it.

Excellent, locks firmly into place and charges in position. Note: Only display ports are available for monitor connection so you will need adapters for HDMI.
