[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This dishwasher is quiet and cleans well. However, I cannot get all my dishes in it. There are not enough upright prongs/posts to hold the dishes in place. There is plenty of room for pots and pans but not small saucers or salad plates. I liked my old dishwasher better.

Product needs one alteration

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Have been totally satisfied with dishwasher except on occasion it made loud vibrating noise. Service man was unable to fix because it failed to make noise while he was here. Discovered on Internet that others had had same problem because of water line vibrating against upper dish rack. Used plastic tie to secure line to rack, and problem seems to have been solved.
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like this dishwasher I believe from my order I was sent a newer version and its different to the original specs. It IS very quiet contrary to other reviews. It does not clean unless everything is really well rinsed. But it's ok I just am hoping to upgrade for something stronger

NEVER GETS DISHES CLEAN

We have had this diswasher for over a year now. After some advise from plumbers, GE and the store salesman I decided to give the dishwasher a little longer try (even though I wanted to get rid of it after the first month of having it). After we had it a month I called the store where I bought it and GE because the dishwasher never cleaned the dishes. They would come out dirtier than when I put them in there. It would leave a thick film on the dishes and I would have to rewash them by hand. It was almost like the soap never got rinsed off. GE and the plumber that they sent out told me it was due to hard water and that I was using the wrong kind of soap. We have installed a water softener and I have tried using almost every kind of detergent on the market and my dishes still never come out clean! Based on my experience with this product I would NOT recommend this dishwasher to anyone!

Not a great dishwasher

I would not recommend this dishwasher. Everything must be very well-rinsed or else the dishes will not get clean.
It's not super quiet either.
I have read all the recommendations:
- I run the hot water in the sink before I start the dishwasher
- i have tried multiple kinds of detergents including cascade which they must have a sales contract with
- i have run dishwasher cleaner through it
- i have tried vinegar
- i have tried koolaid (citric acid)

I still get a slimy build up in the bottom. Not sure what else I can do...
Overall I suppose it does the job all right, but i certainly can't recommend it.

I bought this dishwasher in June 2012 for a rental property, and here it is less than 3 years later (Jan 2015) and the dishwasher is not draining. An appliance should last better than 2+ years before needing repair. I'm not impressed.

Bought this several years ago. Has not held up well. Racks both upper and lower have rusted and deteriorated. Replaced racks and they again rusted and fell apart.
Now the dishwasher is not even cleaning.
