Perfection!

I'm not into electronic gimmickry, and this refrigerator is the perfect mix of modern age engineering with that "simple touch" that makes it the ideal refrigerator for my family. It is quiet, simple to use, and knowing it's a whirlpool, I know it will last a long time.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I am not happy with this refrigerator

This is the worst refrigerator I have ever owned, and that covers over 60 years. The drawers are not easy to use, but the worst area is the freezer. Some of the items I moved into this when I bought it are okay, but most of them are as hard as bricks, something I have never experienced before. I had always been able to extract portions of vegetables, for instance, which I have to do frequently since I live alone; now there are times when I have to literally whack the package with a mallet to loosen the ingredients enough to extract the amount I need. The refrigerator seems cheaply constructed and shortly after it was installed water leaked onto the floor and I had to call the repair people to send someone to fix the problem. The repairman also changed the freezer temperature when I told him what was happening to the frozen food. It worked on a couple of things but I'm still having trouble. No, I would definitely not recommend this model and I would love to be able to trade this in on something that works properly.

My replacement fridge

This is a updated unit from the one I had. The first one lasted almost 17 years. I hope that this one goes as well. Plenty of room and quiet operation. One of the updates on the new unit is a consolidated temperature control. The last one had separate controls for the freezer and refrigerator. I do miss that ability.

Don't buy unless you have another freezer

There aren't separate controls for the refrigerator and freezer. Freezer won't keep ice cream cold enough unless you turn control way up but if you do, stuff in fridge freezes.

I am very happy with my new Whirlpool refrigerator. I can store so much more food than in my previous unit. Also, the easily removable shelves make cleaning a breeze and the crisper drawers work exceptional! I would definitely recommend this product. :)
