Design flaw

I needed to replace my old refrigerator and the only one that fit into my kitchen space was this Whirlpool. I am not very happy with this product as far as the interior design is concerned. The butter shelf on the door does not stay closed. There is a shelf underneath this shelf for canned soda and unless it is taped, anything that is in it falls out. There is no separate temperature control for the freezer which means that the ice cream is not completely frozen because if I keep it that cold the vegetables freeze. The temperature control is in the exact middle of the first shelf, which constricts my ability to utilize the entire shelf.The product is energy efficient, which is a good thing, but all in all, if I were able to use another product in this space, I would have done so.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great for a garage fridge.

I only purchased this item a week ago, so there are no issues to report. I only use it as a spare fridge in my garage. Came complete, no set up required just plug and go. I did turn the temperature one notch for a little colder temperature. Very roomy, very quiet, and great price.

Shelf positioning for taller items

Only problem is a shelf cannot be put in the 3rd notch from the bottom (trying to accommodate taller items on the bottom). If put there, the door won't close.

My Whirlpool Refrigerator

The surface of the refrigerator is smooth, as versus the small indentations of my previous one, which held in dirt and was more difficult to clean. I like the way it opens, without hitting the kitchen door. It keeps food and ice cream at just the right temperature.

Good product for the money

I wanted a refrigerator without a lot of the frills and I needed the almond color. I picked this one out in fewer than 5 minutes and had it delivered the next day.Others said it was noisy, but mine is very quiet. It's not fancy, but it keeps foods cold! What more could you ask for?

I'm extremely happy with this purchase.I've been married for over 40 years and have had at least 4 other refigerators...without a doubt this whirlpool is the best I've ever owned.There is nothing my wife dislikes about this product.....and she's not easy to please.
