Excellent Refrigerator

Looks great, runs well. Temp control is very accurate. Inside lighting the best. Very low noise compared to my last refrigerator of a different brand. Quality is top notch and looks good in our kitchen. Recommend to all my friends.

An egg tray would have been a nice thing to have, but I did keep the one from our old refrigerator~~

Nice Features Removed

Whirlpool is not alone. I could not find what I wanted in any other brand. I have space limitations so perhaps the features I wanted were available in other larger models, although my old fridge had them all..plus. No light in freezer....what were you thinking? No ice cube area, so I took the one out of my old fridge. Freezer door has shelves so narrow.....not much will fit in them. Veggie bins are so much smaller than my old fridge. Have a problem with some things freezing on bottom shelf.To the people who run Whirlpool and make the decisions which affect the consumer, you are contributing to the "Cheapening of America", along with a lot of other companies.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Second refrig/freezer for family use in garage

Purchased this unit as a second refrig/freezer for the garage. So far it has been great. Used for beverages, i.e. waters, sport drinks, milk, sodas and extra frozen items, i.e. frozen dinners, ice cream, & some meats. Everything works great, except the ice cream does not freeze as hard as I feel it should. Would recommend. It's attractive also nice finish on outside. Plenty of storage space and compartments in the refrig area for my family.

Temperature control

In the manual book said the recommended temperature setting is at 3 snow flakes; but with that position it does cool enough to keep the food fresh. We figured it out because our food went off, and we put a thermostat in and temperature was over 50 degrees !! and we have to set it at the position with more snowflakes.
